THE SIGNIFICANCE OF TRADE FINANCE FOR SMALL AND MEDIUM ENTERPRISES

Abstract
Trade finance plays an important role for India's small and medium-sized enterprises to grow and participate in global markets. Indian SMEs confront numerous hurdles, including restricted access to working capital, complex regulatory frameworks, and high transaction costs. Trade finance products such as letters of credit, export financing, bank guarantee , channel financing, factoring, dealer finance, pre and post shipment, EPCG, and supply chain finance etc. help to enhance cash flow and secure transactions which makes national and international trade more accessible.
