Abstract

Background: Polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS) is frequently accompanied by insulin resistance, central adiposity, dyslipidaemia and low-grade inflammation. Peripheral nerve dysfunction is recognised in diabetes and prediabetes, but it has received limited attention in women with PCOS who have not developed overt diabetes
