Abstract

This research paper delves into the profound exploration of desire and liberation through various philosophical and spiritual perspectives. Drawing from the wisdom of ancient sages like Ashtavakra and King Janak, as well as insights from contemporary mindfulness research, the paper examines the root causes of desire, the role of attachment, and the path to inner freedom. It explores concepts such as the illusion of the material world, the nature of consciousness, and the practice of mindfulness in transcending desires. By synthesizing these perspectives, the paper aims to offer a holistic understanding of desire and liberation, guiding individuals towards a path of self-realization and inner peace.
