Abstract
Background: Vitamin D deficiency is a widespread public health problem affecting children
globally, with significant implications for skeletal health, immunity, and overall growth. Despite
abundant sunlight, its prevalence remains high in developing countries like India due to various
environmental, nutritional, and socio-cultural factors.
