Abstract

Background: Perforation peritonitis is a common surgical emergency associated with significant morbidity and mortality, particularly in developing countries. Early identification of factors predicting adverse outcomes may improve patient management and survival. Objectives: To evaluate the clinical profile of patients with perforation peritonitis, determine postoperative morbidity and mortality rates, and identify predictors associated with adverse outcomes.
