Optimizing Multi-Cloud and Hybrid Data Center Operations: A Performance and Cost Optimization Approach
Ashok Sreerangapuri
Abstract
As multi-cloud strategies become the standard for enterprises, managing workloads across multiple cloud providers and on-premise infrastructure presents unique challenges. This paper explores performance and cost optimization strategies for hybrid data center operations, focusing on workload distribution, latency management, and vendor cost control. It highlights frameworks for balancing workloads dynamically between multi-cloud environments and local data centers, ensuring both performance and budget goals are met. The research includes real-world use cases demonstrating how organizations can leverage predictive analytics and automated orchestration tools to enhance operational efficiency. Finally, the paper provides actionable insights on selecting the right cloud providers, monitoring tools, and governance models for successful multi-cloud operations.
