The case report represents a 21 year old female patient with class 1 malocclusion with increased proclination and crowding in relation to the upper and the lower arch. Patient has a straight profile with competent lips. The treatment was carried out with a non extractionapproach , expansion was done in relation to the upper arch with the help of mini screws to gain space for anterior retraction. This was followed by fixed appliance therapy. Following leveling and aligning , and anterior retraction , settling was done and cross elastics were giving to bring the molar into a stable occlusion. Following the treatment the patient’s smile improved with the reduction in lateral negative space and the proclined lips were corrected.
