Abstract

Background: Avascular necrosis (AVN) of the femoral head is a progressive disorder resulting from compromised blood supply to the femoral head, leading to bone ischemia, structural collapse, and eventual degenerative arthritis. Early diagnosis is essential because therapeutic interventions are most effective before femoral head collapse occurs.
