IoT and loD applications in energy systems optimization towards cleaner environment and sustainable development
Dr. Nilima S. Chouhan
Abstract
Affixing Artificial Intelligence (AI) and Internet of Things ( IoT ) systems sensors to generation, transmission and distribution equipments enables energy companies to monitor it remotely. These sensors measure parameters such as vibration, temperature and wear to optimize maintenance schedules. This preventative maintenance approach can significantly improve reliability by keeping equipment in optimal equipment and providing the opportunity to make repairs before it fails. This paper highlights latest developments in implementing IoT and IoD tools and applications in energy sector in various parts of the world.
Keywords
Sensor-based technology and data science, efficiency and automation of wind farms and solar fields, remotely regulate and control tracking systems.
