Abstract

Background: Hypotension is the most common haemodynamic complication following spinal anaesthesia and may lead to adverse perioperative events if not recognised and treated promptly. Identifying patients at increased risk is essential for improving perioperative management and patient safety. This study aimed to determine the incidence, predictors, and immediate clinical consequences of hypotension following spinal anaesthesia in patients undergoing lower abdominal and lower limb surgeries.
