Abstract

BACKGROUND Right upper quadrant (RUQ) abdominal pain is a frequent emergency department (ED) presentation. Focused gallbladder ultrasound (POCUS) offers a rapid, bedside diagnostic tool, particularly valuable in resource-limited settings. This study evaluates the utility and accuracy of POCUS in diagnosing gallbladder pathology and its impact on clinical decision-making.
