Abstract
The present study was a hospital based, prospective, non-randomised study involving 95 eyes of 50 patients diagnosed with primary open angle glaucoma. This study was conducted with aim to analyse the correlation of optic disc parameters and RNFL thickness. This study was conducted for a period of one and half year. Data for the study was collected from the patients attending OPD of Ophthalmology department.Following a complete ocular examination including gonioscopy, fundus examination with 78D/ 90D lens, retinal nerve fibre layer thickness and optic disc parameters were assessed using spectral domain optical coherence tomography. The mean age was 61.58 ± 9.89 years. The gender distribution of patients 30(60%) were males and 20(40%) were females. The optic disc parameters were strongly correlated with retinal nerve fibre layer thickness.
