Data Mining in Healthcare: Applications, Benefits, and Future Directions
Patil Rahul Ashok
Abstract
Data mining's broad range of applications and efficient data processing make it popular in many academic domains. Particularly in the face of swift global transformations, it plays a crucial role in forecasting future patterns and outcomes. It may be difficult to turn the abundance of data available in the healthcare industry into insights that can be put to use. Data mining fills this gap by making it possible to use data effectively and efficiently, which eventually improves care delivery and lowers costs. Methods like as regression, association, clustering, and classification are very important in the healthcare industry. Additionally, this method emphasizes its uses, difficulties, and possible future developments in healthcare systems.
