Background: Effective postoperative pain management is crucial to enhance patient recovery, reduce the risk of complications, and improve overall satisfaction. Despite advances in pain management protocols, patient satisfaction varies significantly across healthcare settings. Objectives: This study aimed to evaluate patient satisfaction with postoperative pain management among individuals undergoing major surgeries and to identify factors influencing their satisfaction. Methods: We conducted a cross-sectional survey involving 260 patients who had recently undergone major surgical procedures at a tertiary healthcare center. Satisfaction was assessed using a structured questionnaire that covered various aspects of pain management, including medication effectiveness, staff responsiveness, and information provision. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics, correlation coefficients, and regression analysis to explore the factors affecting patient satisfaction. Results: The overall satisfaction rate was 76.9%. Satisfaction scores were high for staff responsiveness (80.8%) and ease of access to medication (73.1%), but lower for follow-up care (63.5%). The study identified several significant predictors of satisfaction, including age, type of surgery, duration of surgery, and previous pain management experience. Notably, patients who received a combination of pharmacological and non-pharmacological treatment reported the highest satisfaction (82.2%).
