Abstract
Background: Accurate preoperative airway assessment is essential to anticipate difficult laryngoscopy and prevent anesthesia-related complications. The Modified Mallampati Score (MMS) is widely used but has limitations in predictive accuracy. The Thyromental Height Test (TMHT) is a newer, objective parameter proposed as a reliable alternative.
