Adaptive Case Management (ACM) Revolution
Sivasatyanarayanareddy Munnangi
Abstract
Adaptive Case Management (ACM) represents a transformative evolution beyond traditional Business Process Management (BPM) systems, enabling organizations to respond dynamically to unpredictable scenarios and complex workflows. Unlike rigid, predefined workflows in traditional BPM, ACM offers flexibility and adaptability by supporting unstructured processes and empowering employees to make decisions based on real-time data and evolving circumstances. This article explores how ACM has enhanced business agility, particularly in industries such as insurance and healthcare, where unpredictable events, complex claims, and patient cases demand a high degree of operational flexibility. By focusing on case-based scenarios such as claims processing and patient care management, the article demonstrates how ACM fosters better decision-making, faster response times, and improved customer satisfaction. Furthermore, ACM allows organizations to manage complex workflows by breaking down silos and enabling cross-functional collaboration. This revolutionized business approach offers significant improvements in efficiency and customer-centric service delivery, providing a clear competitive advantage in industries where responsiveness and adaptability are crucial.
