Otorhinolaryngology (ENT) has evolved significantly over the past decade, particularly with the integration of endoscopic diagnostics, radiological imaging, and minimally invasive surgical techniques. The present study provides a comparative clinical evaluation of ENT diagnostic practices between two tertiary-level teaching hospitals in Uttar Pradesh — Saraswathi Institute of Medical Sciences, Hapur, and Shri Ram Murti Smarak Institute of Medical Sciences, Bareilly. The objective was to assess variations in diagnostic protocols, patient outcomes, and departmental coordination, focusing on sinus, otologic, and laryngeal disorders. A total of 300 patient records were retrospectively analyzed between 2019 and 2020. Data were categorized based on presenting symptoms, diagnostic tools used (endoscopy, audiometry, radiology, histopathology), and treatment outcomes. The comparison revealed that while both institutions followed standard diagnostic algorithms, differences were noted in the extent of radiological dependency and the frequency of early endoscopic intervention. Saraswathi Institute emphasized integrated radiology-guided diagnosis, whereas the Bareilly center employed more traditional clinical examination-supported methods. Statistical analysis demonstrated that early diagnostic imaging correlated with a 22% reduction in treatment duration and an 18% decrease in postoperative complications. Academic collaboration and shared clinical training between both institutions improved diagnostic confidence and reduced referral delays. This multicentric evaluation highlights the importance of standardized diagnostic approaches and institutional collaboration in improving ENT outcomes. The study reinforces that synchronized methodologies, cross-training, and mutual academic exchange contribute substantially to quality patient care and future medical education in Otorhinolaryngology.
