Diagnosis and epidemiological study for tricomniasis for women in Babylon

Abstract

This study was include Eighty eight women patients was suffering infected trichomoniasis and 25 control as a healthy individual who admitted the Babylon maternity and children hospital were diagnostic during the period December 2017 until the February 2018. It was conducted to determine the percentage of the occurrence of the parasite Trichomonas vaginalis and the risk factors of infection with this parasite among women living in Babylon City Province, Iraq. Vaginal swabs were taken from each woman and examined. The direct microscopic examination and cultivated methods were used for diagnosis and full information were recorded about all women such as : age, housing , pregnancy.
