Negative Refractive Index In Quantum Dot System

Negative refractive index (NRI) is an active field of study since it can be used to develop a perfect lens and a lensless imaging. The aim of this thesis is to propose a system to study NRI. A double quantum dot (DQD) system is proposed considering both conduction and valence bands (CB and VB) in the field application, in addition to the wetting layer (WL). An electric fields: the pump 31 and the probe 20 and the magnetic 23 ( )  field are applied. These fields are applied between QD states as referred from their subscript numbers. Additionally, another electric fields are applied between WLQD states.
