Simulation of PV cells to feed different loads with SITO DCBC

This study presents a new single input triple output (SITO) direct boost current converter (DCBC). Compared to the traditional converters, the suggested design has a lower number of semiconductor switches and single inductor. This decrease in power electronic switches leads to reduce costs and a more efficient system. The suggested circuit topology is a non-isolated boost converter with a single photovoltaic panel 4v input and several outputs of 5, 12, and 18.5v. These voltage levels have been obtained to feed different dc loads such as mobile, DC fan ,and laptop chargers. The mathematical model, design requirements, and control methodologies are also presented in this suggested study. The proposed converter circuit's performance was modeled in a MATLAB/Simulink environment.The simulation and analysis results show that the proposed SITO DCBC is more efficient than the traditional converters in terms of improving efficiency, reducing components , input current and output voltage ripples reduction. The proposed SITO DCBC needs only a single inductor for three different outputs voltages.
