Estimating Levels of Technical, Specialized and Economic Efficiency Using the Data Envelope Method (DEA) for of Grape Fruit in Salah Al-Din Governorate - Dujail District, An Applied Model for the Agricultural Season (2020-2021)

The study aimed to measure the economic efficiency in the orchards devoted to the production of grape fruit according to the data envelope analysis (DEA) method. The minimum amount was (0.953) (52%) for farm No. (19), and the maximum amount was (100%) for a group of 21 farms, which constituted a percentage of (11.4%), while the average technical efficiency rate was (98%).) Depending on the variables of the cost function, the results showed that the levels of technical efficiency in light of the change in the return on capacity for the study sample ranged between (0.971-1) and an average of (99%), as for the levels of allocative efficiency (AE) for the grape farms in the study sample, which It was estimated according to the prices of the resources used. It turned out that it ranged between a minimum of (937%) for a farm (9) and a maximum of (100%) for a number of farms, which amounted to (6) farms, while the average for it reached a percentage of (%) 981). The study recommended making use of the efficiency indicators obtained through the data envelope model, and the necessity of activating the role of the agricultural extension apparatus in training and guiding farmers to adopt modern irrigation technologies.
