Calculation of The Positions Accuracy Between The Anchor Nodes And The Mobile Station Inside A Closed Building By Using UWB Technology

This paper, in Indoor positioning System (IPS) we implemented 16 tests inside a closed building after installing 4 fixed anchor nodes in the ground, and each anchor node is installed on a wooden pole, the length of each pole is 180cm. A new technology is presented to control the motion of the mobile station and to detect the position by the help from other anchor nodes using wireless technology is Ultra-Wide Band (UWB) technology. We presented the accuracy of determining the positioning between the mobile station and each anchor nodes according to the type of channel Line of sight (LOS), Non Line of sight (NOLS) with an error ratio not exceeding 0.3m when we use a concrete wall (hard environment) between the mobile station and each anchor node.
